Cause for a little celebration at the end of 2015 as we count the 10,000th student to complete our face-to-face interview training programme. The student, from Vienna International School, was one of 20+ young people who signed up for two 30-minute mock interviews when we visited at the end of November. She's hoping to secure a place at a UK medical school next autumn, and we asked her questions on proteins, amino acids, ethics... and even poisons.
Our interview training programme began in 1989 at a school in Kent. After two successful seasons there, other schools heard about what we were doing and asked us to include them in our scheme. Two of those, Dulwich College and Queenswood School, have used us every year since then. Today we operate our on-site interview training programme at around 15 schools across the UK, as well as at international schools in Switzerland and Austria.
We're proud of our reputation for providing relevant subject-specific academic interview training, but we also love assisting with more general interview and communication skills - either on a one-to-one basis or through seminars and workshops - in person or increasingly using Skype. We have a number of events already booked for 2016: personal statement seminars, a leadership skills conference and interview skills workshops.
Why not make contact to find out how we could help you and your school/college? For a start - ask us today for a free trial log-in to the website.
We wish all our 2015 candidates the very best in their forthcoming interviews. For those who have already attended, we're keeping our fingers crossed for the best possible outcomes!
